Sometimes (most-times) projects take a lot of revision, engineering, and design from the initial ideas to reality. Such is the case for Oculus-Santa Fe, as they remodel their downtown location.

The interior reception area will have a beautiful stone wall with custom metalwork using primarily patinated steel and silicon bronze. Behind the reception desk will be steel spirals. Here is the metamorphosis of that project:

The next process is cutting the actual metal from the vector drawing using a CNC plasma cutting machine. Thanks to GFC Precision in Santa Fe, for producing just what we needed to work with.

After the pieces were boxed in and tabbed, patinated and clear coated, it was time to install.
